01Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of aijaletransitworkshop.com and everything on it, including videos, live streams, shorts, the community gallery, games, trivia, the soundboard and memberships (together, the "Site"). The Site is run by Aijale's Transit World ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Site or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

02Who can use the site

• Anyone can watch public videos, streams and shorts and play the free games.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, post photos or comments, or appear on leaderboards.
• If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to create an account, and a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and handle any paid membership for you.

03Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your display name appears publicly on comments, community photos and leaderboards. Don't pick a name that impersonates someone else or is offensive.
• One person per account. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts.
• You can change your email and password, or delete your account, at any time in Settings.

04Memberships & billing

The free plan gives you access to public videos, shorts, streams and the community. The paid Conductor membership ($9.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes) adds member perks such as priority video requests, early access videos, members-only streams and exclusive trivia. Perks may change over time, and we'll aim to give notice of major changes.

• Automatic renewal: memberships renew automatically each month and are charged to your payment method on file until you cancel.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's terms.
• Price changes: if the price changes, we'll let you know before your next billing date. You can cancel before the new price applies.
• Failed payments: if a payment fails, perks may be paused until the payment goes through.
• Restricted regions: memberships aren't available in regions where payments are restricted by law, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Site may not be available in some of these regions.

05Pausing, changing & cancelling

• Pause: you can pause your membership for 1 to 3 months from Settings. You won't be charged while paused, and member perks are unavailable until it resumes. It resumes automatically at the end of the pause.
• Upgrade or downgrade: upgrades take effect right away, and Stripe may charge or credit a prorated amount. Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Cancel: cancel any time from Settings or the "Manage billing" page. You keep your perks until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Refunds: payments are generally non-refundable, including for partial months, except where required by law. If you think you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right.
• Deleting your account also cancels any active membership.

06Your posts & content

You keep ownership of what you post on the Site, including photos, captions, forum topics and replies, video comments and chat messages ("Your Content"). By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide permission to host, display and share Your Content on the Site and in Site features like Photo of the Month (including showcasing winning photos on the home page). This permission ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where it has already been shared or where we need to keep it for legal reasons.

• Only post things you made yourself, or that you have permission to share.
• Community photos are reviewed before they appear, and we may decline any photo.
• We automatically remove location (GPS) data from uploaded photos.
• Chat on stream: live chat messages may appear on screen during the stream and in the stream recording.
• Speaking on stream: if you join the call room and are put on air, you agree that your voice and display name may be broadcast live and kept in the stream recording.
• We may edit, hide or remove any content that breaks these Terms or that we consider inappropriate.

07Community rules

Keep the Site a fun, friendly place for transit fans of all ages. Don't post or do any of the following:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination
• Sexual, violent or graphic content, or anything harmful to minors
• Other people's personal information, or photos that focus on identifiable people without their permission (incidental people in station or platform shots are fine)
• Photos of employee-only areas, security systems, or anything that could put riders or workers at risk
• Spam, advertising, scams or links to harmful sites
• Content you don't have the rights to, or that impersonates someone else
• Cheating, using bots or scripts, faking votes or views, or trying to get around limits or security
• Trying to access accounts, data or parts of the Site you're not allowed to

08Railfanning safety

No photo or video is worth getting hurt. When filming for the community, always stay behind platform edges and safety lines, never trespass on tracks, yards or restricted areas, follow staff instructions and posted rules, and respect riders and operators. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for following the law when taking photos or videos.

09Games, leaderboards & contests

• Games and trivia are free and for fun. Leaderboards show your display name and best score.
• We may remove scores or votes that look automated, manipulated or impossible, and may suspend accounts that cheat.
• Photo of the Month is a just-for-fun community vote. Winners are featured on the Site. There's no cash prize unless we announce one in writing with its own rules.
• We can change, pause or end any game, leaderboard or contest at any time.

10Live streams & chat

Live streams may be recorded and posted later as past streams. Messages you send in chat may be visible to everyone watching. The community rules above apply in chat too, and moderators may remove messages or users.

11Copyright & our content

The videos, live streams, shorts, thumbnails, photos, graphics, logos, games, trivia, maps, add-ons and other content created by Aijale's Transit World are owned by us and protected by copyright. © 2026 Aijale's Transit World. All rights reserved.

You can:

• Watch, and share links to our videos, streams and pages
• Embed our videos using YouTube's own share or embed button
• Use a screenshot for personal, non-commercial posts, with credit to Aijale's Transit World and a link back

Please don't, without our written permission:

• Download, re-upload or mirror our videos or streams, in full or in part (including compilations and "reaction" re-uploads)
• Sell, license or use our content in ads, or pass it off as your own
• Remove watermarks or credits, or use our content to train AI models
• Re-upload, sell or bundle our maps, add-ons or patches. Free downloads are for your personal use only

Want to use something? Ask us. We're happy to say yes to fellow fans in many cases.

12Not affiliated with other companies

Aijale's Transit World is an independent fan channel. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the following, and their names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them only to describe what appears in our content:

• Transit agencies and operators: the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Amtrak, Keolis, or any other transit agency or operator
• Vehicle makers: New Flyer, CRRC, Alstom, Gillig or any other manufacturer
• Games and game services: OMSI 2 and its publishers, openOMSI, Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft, Aternos, Roblox, or the makers of any other game we play
• Platforms: YouTube, Google, Twitch and other services we stream or post on

Our Minecraft server is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Station names, routes and schedules shown on the Site (including in games and trivia) are for entertainment and may be outdated. Always check official sources before you travel.

13Account security & your information

Your information stays on our site. Your account details, the content you post and your activity on the Site are stored on our own server. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with anyone for advertising or marketing.

The only exceptions are:

• Payments: card details for memberships are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on our site.
• The law: if we are legally required to share information, for example by a court order.

How we protect your account:

• Passwords are encrypted (hashed), so nobody, including us, can see your password.
• The entire Site uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Location (GPS) data is automatically removed from photos you upload.
• Only the site owner can access the server where your information is stored.
• Choosing a language other than English uses Google Translate, which receives the text of the page you are viewing so it can translate it. If you stay in English, nothing is sent.
• We will never ask for your password by email, message or chat.
• If we ever learn of a security problem that affects your account, we will let you know.

Help keep your account safe: use a strong password you don't use anywhere else, don't share your login, and log out on shared devices. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password in Settings and contact us.

14Your privacy

• We collect what we need to run the Site: your display name, email, a securely hashed password, your membership status, and the content you post.
• View counts use a scrambled, temporary identifier and aren't linked to your name.
• We never sell your personal information.
• Deleting your account removes your account information from our systems.

15Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that streams, videos or features will always work. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.

16Limit of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aijale's Transit World will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $10 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

17Suspending or closing accounts

We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these Terms or put the community at risk. For serious or repeated violations, this may happen without warning. If we close an account with an active membership for reasons other than a violation of these Terms, we'll refund the unused part of the current billing period. You can stop using the Site and delete your account at any time.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for important changes we'll give notice on the Site or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

19Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us first, since most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally.
